Asklepios revolutionizes medical care with VMware

Asklepios, one of Germany’s largest private clinics, needed to overcome silos to improve communication and data exchange for its staff, while ensuring robust security across its numerous devices, apps and systems. The digital healthcare group partnered with VMware, deploying 16,000 workstations with Horizon and Workspace ONE as well as Carbon Black Cloud Endpoint Suite and Carbon Black App Control complementing its virtualized data centre. In this way, 67,000 employees in 170 medical facilities and 14 states are able to drive optimal medical care and healthcare innovation every day.

Announcing VMware vRealize Network Insight 6.3 and Cloud

We are proud to announce the release of VMware vRealize Network Insight 6.3 and VMware vRealize Network Insight Cloud. The new release delivers more network visibility capabilities for NSX-T, VMware SD-WAN, and VMware Cloud. Newly supported is VMware Cloud on Dell EMC with capabilities for application discovery, migration planning, security planning, alerts, and analytics.

Indian Hospital Enhances Patient Experience

GSL General Hospital and Medical College, in India, is at the forefront of bringing equitable, quality healthcare to the rural poor. To expand its operations and improve patient outcomes, the institution required a complete revamp of its legacy IT ecosystem that was resulting in infrastructure silos, cost-intensive app deployment, and complicated Day-2 management process. Now equipped with vSphere, vSAN, and vRealize Operations, the organization has made a successful transition to a hyper-converged infrastructure. This has enabled GSL Hospital to run business-critical apps seamlessly while adhering to compliance requirements related to sensitive patient information.

Citizen Services at the Click of a Button

Clark County, located in the US state of Nevada, was one year into a three-year mobility plan when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Thanks to its strong partnership with VMware and Dell, Clark County reacted immediately, pivoting to remote working and providing citizens virtual access to crucial services such as rent support, child welfare, and juvenile justice. A long-time VMware customer, it is utilizing Workspace ONE, VMware Cloud on AWS, Horizon, vSAN and NSX to create a joined-up approach to digitization.
