This year at VMworld Europe, Hands-on Labs (HOL) is hosting a 24 team (3-member team) event called the Odyssey Cup. This competition debuted at VMworld US and was a great success. We are hoping to have another great event in Barcelona and we need your help registering teams (customers and partners) who would like to compete to win a MacBook Pro!
Participants will be presented a lab with tasks to complete. They are then judged on the accuracy of completing the task(s) and the duration to complete the task(s). Tasks will be across vSphere, vSAN, Horizon and vRealize Automation! And the beauty is that the teams will receive training so they will be prepared prior to VMworld.
Important notes on the competition:
- You don’t have to submit a 3-person team. It can be an individual and HOL will be taking individuals to potentially build teams.
- A VMware employee CANNOT be a member of the team.
- It cannot be a Public Sector customer.
- Deadline for registration is 11/1/19 or until the event is full (this happened early for the US event).
- There will be rounds for all teams on the first two days, then elimination down to the top 2 teams on the 3rd
- There will be time commitments prior to and during VMworld for training and registration
